Manageable Mondays: How To Get Deodorant Out of Clothes

This series is all about how to make those Mondays just a little bit more manageable. I will give little tips and tricks to help you on those Mondays when it seems like you just cannot get it together.

Happy Monday Everyone!

Do you ever have those mornings when you think your outfit is looking absolutely perfect and then you spot them... Deodorant stains on your shirt! Ugh!! How annoying! Well I'm going to show you the easiest trick on earth to get those stains out! Use the protective foam on the end of a hanger! Yes, seriously. (Please excuse the quality of these photos, they were taken on my cell phone!)

Here are my deodorant stains from this morning.

Use the protective foam on the end of a hanger and gently rub the foam over the deodorant stain.

Like so.

And presto!! The deodorant stain is gone!

Hope this tip makes your Monday a little easier!

Gameday Attire

Hey y'all!!

It's my absolute favorite day of the week!!! It's GAMEDAY!!!!! :) And you know I'm representing my Alma Mater today by wearing my Crimson and Houndstooth to work! I put my hair in a top knot so that it wouldn't take away from the back of this adorable top and kept my jewelry simple. Roll Tide!! :)

#OOTD

Aztec cardi- Forever 21; Shorts- Lucky jeans turned into shorts by myself :); black tank- Charlotte Russe

Today's outfit of the day is for a casual night with friends! It's still hot here so the shorts are perfect and the cardigan is good for the night time. I teased my bangs for a little volume and pinned them back with two bobby pins. I kept my jewelry pretty simple with a cross necklace made up of 3 chains and a leather cuff bracelet.

#OOTD

Green shirt- Victoria's Secret; Crocheted Pants- Jilly B.; Earrings; Sorrelli

Hello loves!

Today's outfit of the day is a very comfortable outfit for those days that you want to look pulled together without feeling like you're in a straitjacket all day. I paired one of my most comfortable fitted t's with these wonderful crocheted pants that I got from Jilly B.! To go along with this effortless vibe, I went with a sock bun (see tutorial from yesterday) for my hair. I added a cat eye, just for fun, and a red lipstick.

Hope you like it!

Manageable Mondays

This series is all about how to make those Mondays just a little bit more manageable. I will give little tips and tricks to help you on those Mondays when it seems like you just cannot get it together.

Anyone that knows me knows that fixing my hair (or anyone else's hair, for that matter) is not one of my gifts. Maybe it's the fact that I have a lot of hair but it has a very fine texture. Maybe it's just my tendency to be a perfectionist. Or my impatience when it comes to my hair. In any case, fixing my hair is one of my biggest hassles in the mornings.

So on those Mondays that I can't seem to make myself get out of bed on time, I need a quick and easy way to fix my hair.  Well my friends, one of the easiest and quickest ways to fix your hair is a sock bun! Now I have to admit, I was very skeptical about trying a sock bun. But once I did, it changed my life. If you are also a skeptic, let me show you the easiest, most efficient way to do your hair when you just don't have the time.

The Sock Bun

Start with your hair in a high ponytail.

Now cut the toe-end off of a sock and roll it up like mine.

And put it around your ponytail.

Brush your hair over your sock.

And put another ponytail around it. Make sure all of your sock is covered up.

Now take the ends and wrap it around your bun.

And bobby pin it in place. Now I have very layered hair, so it takes several bobby pins for me. Use as many as you need.

Spray the flyaways and you're done!! How easy was that??

Hope this makes your Monday just a little bit easier!

Wedding Bliss

My wonderful boyfriend is a social butterfly. He is a great friend to people and makes people feel comfortable when he is around (one of the things I admire most about him :) ). By being this type of person, he has gained many friends over the years. And this year, that quality has lead to him being in and being invited to several weddings. We've been to 3 weddings in the past 2 months and still have another coming up next month! Not that I'm complaining. Let's be honest, how many girly girls don't like to get dressed up and watch people profess their love for each other and dance under the stars all night on an enchanted evening? Exactly. Why yes, now that you ask, I am a hopeless romantic! Haha!

And for these 3 weddings that we have been a part of, of course I had to have a pretty outfit to wear! However, I will admit that I have worn the same dress to 2 different weddings. *Gasp!* Really though, who is going to notice if it's two totally different guest lists? And frankly, even if they did, who cares? If it was a beautiful outfit at the first wedding, it will still be a beautiful outfit at the second wedding. :) I also included a dress from the rehearsal dinner for one of the weddings. Hope you like them!
